Frequently Asked Questions

1. Pricing

  • All prices quoted are in US Dollars.
  • As reference to find out how much the items cost in other currency, you may click on the Currency Converter to find out. The Currency Converter tab is available next to the price at item listing page.

2. Shipping

  • Once we have received your orders, we will process and ship out within 48 hours (excluding weekend and public holidays). All orders will be shipped out by post. Please note that at this point, we are unable to attend to requests for self-collect of the items ordered.
  • Shipping rate is calculated based on the total shipping weight of the items inclusive of packaging material. On very rare occasions when the shipping charge needs to be adjusted (either up or down), we will either refund to you when it's over-charged or we will send you additional shipping invoice if it's under-charged.
  • Local - All local orders in Singapore can be shipped by either standard mail (non-registered), registered mail or next day courier delivery.  We will recommend sending via registered mail. Do note that customers assume liability for all risks on items sent out by standard (non-registered) mail option. You can choose your preference at checkout.
  • Overseas - All international orders can be shipped by either registered airmail or EMS courier service. Rates are charged based on total weight of items ordered. Just add the items you would like to purchase into your shopping cart and check out; our system will then automatically calculate the shipping cost to your country based on total weight of items ordered and shipping mode your choose. You may decide at that point whether or not you would like to proceed with the payment process to complete the order. 
  • We will provide the Tracking Number in the shipping notification email for packages shipped via registered mail or EMS. The website link for tracking will also be listed in the shipping notification email.
  • As registered and EMS shipping is signature-required, someone needs to be at the delivery address to receive the items from the postman during the delivery hours. If nobody is there to receive the mail, the postman will leave a notice for you or call you to re-arrange the delivery.

3. Custom/Tax

  • Please be aware that all products delivered internationally (outside of Singapore) may incur additional customs and taxes charged by destination countries. The shipping charges you pay for in your order do not cover these additional costs. It is the customers' responsibility to pay for these additional charges in order to receive their shipment.

4. Delivery Duration

  • Local - For all local orders in Singapore, you should usually receive it within 1-2 working days (non-registered or registered mail) or the next working day for courier delivery once the order is sent out.
  • Overseas - For all international orders, the estimated delivery time ranges between 2-4 weeks from date of shipping depending on choice of destination country. Delivery to destination countries may be subjected to occasional delays due to tighter control on custom clearance, holiday season (Christmas & New Year), bad weather, strikes, etc. Olifstudio will not be hold responsible for such delay as postal service operation is beyond our control. For festive/holiday postings or any urgent shipping request, please either buffer additional 2 weeks on top of the estimated duration or kindly request for upgrade into courier service prior to ordering. For the shipping upgrade into courier service, we will send email advising you on the additional charges. Upon your confirmation, we will then send you another email with the link to the additional payment invoice. Once payment has been charged, your order will be shipped to you.

5. Payment

  • All payments are to be made in US Dollars.
  • We accept payment through all major credit cards via Paypal.
  • For eCheque payment via Paypal, it usually takes about 6-8 days for Paypal to clear the cheque. We will wait until cheque is cleared and actual payment is received before posting the purchased items.
  • Note: You could purchase WITHOUT having to SIGN UP with Paypal. There is option to check out as Paypal's guest. Just check out as usual, and when the screen shows option of "Don't have a Paypal Account" just click on it.
  • Payment has to be received within 24 hours of purchase, otherwise we will have to cancel the order and item will be relisted.

6. Return/Exchange and Refund 

  • It's important that you're happy with our product. If for some reason you're not, we'll be glad to provide refund/exchange of another item, less the original shipping charges. This is only applicable for regular-price item and not for sale items
  • Important: You must contact/email us for RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number and instructions before you return your items. No Refunds/Exchanges without notice. Any returning package without RMA Number will be rejected.
  • All returned merchandise must be in its original (clean/undamaged) condition.
  • Customer is responsible for the delivery charge of returned items back to us. It is highly recommended to send the returned items via registered airmail. We will not be responsible for any loss or damage due to delivery.
  • To request for a refund/exchange, please contact us within 3 days of receiving the items.
  • Sale items are final and therefore not eligible for refund/exchange.

7. Gift Certificates

  • Gift certificates are valid for 6 months from delivery date, and can be used to purchase any of our products, including sale items.
  • Your recipient will receive an electronic gift certificate via email
  • Gift certificates are available in choices of US$ 10, US$ 25, US$ 50, US$ 75
  • During checkout, please provide your recipient's name, email address and write your personalised message in the message box.
  • All gift certificates can be redeemed online on any of our products. To redeem it, shop and check out as you normally would. During the checkout process, key in the gift certificate code in the gift voucher section.
  • Gift certificates are for one-time use only and not redeemable for cash.
  • Gift certificates are non refundable.
  • Gift certificates cannot be used in conjunction (or together) with any discount/promotional coupon codes.

8. Discount/Promotional Codes

  • Occasionally you may receive special offers through our newsletter emails or our websites or other advertising media. These special offers will come with discount/promotional coupon codes.
  • To redeem the discount/promotional coupon, simply key in the code in the section provided during checkout process.
  • Discount/Promotional coupon cannot be used in conjunction (or together) with gift certificates. Only one promotional code or gift certifcate can be applied at a time for each order.
